About us

RPS-Ltd is a family run business with an experienced and skilled team in all aspects of property maintenance. Our Directors have over 65 years experience in the field, with our feet deep in the history of general building services, including a builders merchants alongside a horse-and-cart muck away service dating back to 1862. The building industry has been a part of each generation of the RPS Directors. 

Our objective and ethos is to provide a traditional service in the modern day, whilst also being innovative. We pride ourselves on our customer service, so your confidence and happiness in us is our main priority. 

We can manage all aspects of maintenance from general repairs, decorating, kitchens or bathroom repairs, gardening and driveways, to complete refurbishment projects.

Accreditations

Disclosure and Barring Service, formally Criminal records bureau (CRB): all our engineers have been checked, investigating their background to determine whether or not they have a criminal conviction.


We have demonstrated compliance with the CHAS standards in line with SSIP Core Criteria and UK Health and Safety Legislation and have been awarded CHAS Advanced accreditation for the second year running to the requirements of the CDM Regulations 2015. Additionally we have demonstrated full compliance with 6 modules of PAS 91.

We take Health & Safety seriously and have a competent Health & Safety Consultant, checking and updating our Health & Safety Policies regularly, undertaking training with our staff and advising and assisting in general Health & Safety matters.


We hold a full waste carrier's licence which enables us to transport any waste created on site back to our store so a larger licensed waste disposal company can remove it in turn complying with the law.
